Once upon a time I was turning 40 and I had made extensive plans to celebrate it with loved ones in London. Then the world shut down because there was a killer virus on the loose, so my party plans had to change and I was beyond bereft.Ā
One night while doom-scrolling, I saw a woman wearing this exquisite dress, all colours of the rainbow. She looked like heaven. I just knew I had to have this dress. So I looked up the designer, got in touch and organised for my dress to be sent out to Fiji, where I was living at the time and suddenly my 40th birthday plans were ON ON ON!
